Website accessibility review

Our approach to making the website easier to use.

Accessibility statement and help

Overview

FacilitySight is working to make its public website accessible to people with disabilities, using WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its guide.

Our latest review combined automated checks with targeted keyboard, layout and contrast checks. It resulted in improvements to text readability, navigation, form feedback and chart descriptions.

Our approach

We use accessibility testing to identify barriers and guide improvements. The website includes:

  • Keyboard navigation and a skip-to-content link.
  • Labeled forms and clear feedback.
  • Responsive layouts and readable text.
  • Reduced-motion support and video playback controls.
  • Captions and a transcript for the product overview.

Actions taken following our audit

Following our accessibility audit, we made improvements across the website:

  • Improved text contrast and readability, including text displayed over images.
  • Refined headings, page structure and control labels to make content easier to navigate and understand with assistive technology.
  • Improved chart descriptions and data labels so information is available beyond the visual presentation.
  • Removed unnecessary keyboard stops and checked keyboard navigation and focus behavior in menus and dialogs.
  • Repeated accessibility checks after the changes, including checks of responsive layouts and form feedback.

Review status

Further manual evaluation, including testing with assistive technology, remains. Full WCAG conformance has not yet been determined.

This review covers the public website. The customer application and third-party services require separate evaluation.
