Nobody likes waiting in line.
SightLine solves the problem
Eliminate lines and delight guests
HERE'S
HOW IT
WORKS
Your library is hosting a tutor for homework help
A tutor arrives to help elementary students with their homework. Staff were anticipating fewer than ten children to need assistance for the two hour scheduled block.
An unanticipated rush of children and parents arrive requesting assistance from the one available tutor. Staff decide to initiate a SightLine virtual queue to manage the inrush of patrons needing help.
SightLine Created
An easy to follow prompt on the FacilitySight dashboard allows staff to quickly create a SightLine for guests to join by scanning a QR code or entering a short web URL. Alternatively, guests can be added by staff or through a self-service kiosk (any computer/tablet with a web browser and internet access).
- Choose whether guests can add/remove themselves from the SightLine
- Limit the number of guests in the SightLine
- Opt to display an estimated wait to guests or simply their position
- Customize the URL guests can visit to join if self-service is enabled
- Generate a QR code guests can scan to reserve their spot if self-service is enabled
Guests join the SightLine
Guests can now join the SightLine and monitor their place from a dedicated screen such as a TV or monitor in the library, or from their own device. Using their own device allows guests to explore your facility to learn more about your offerings, peruse an ongoing book sale, or just grab a comfortable chair to wait.
When it’s their turn, a notification will alert them to return to the area where the service is being provided.
It’s as easy as that!
